We are looking for a motivated apprentice to train as a print operator, finisher, and signage installer, joining our team as we design, print, finish, and install for an exciting and ever-growing roster of national brands. No prior experience is necessary—what matters most is an exceptional eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience in large-format printing, finishing techniques, and signage installation, working alongside experienced professionals in a fast-paced, creative environment. Responsibilities
Office & Administration
Prepare estimates and proposals for client projects.
Conduct site surveys, including measuring, identifying potential issues, and reporting findings.
Upsell products and services to clients where appropriate.
Perform artwork checks to ensure files meet print and production standards.
Maintain and improve workflow in the CRM system to enhance project management.
Update and develop how-to guides for software, finishing, and installation processes.
Customer Service & Client Relations
Handle incoming and outgoing calls with clients, potential customers, and suppliers, recording and actioning relevant details.
Ensure the CRM system is kept accurate and up to date.
Greet and liaise with visitors and clients in a friendly and professional manner.
Accompany team members on site visits to support project execution.
Represent and uphold the Beautiful brand and its values at all times.
Software & Technology
Manage, monitor, and continuously develop expertise in business software, including:
CRM system (HubSpot)
Xero (Accounting Software)
Caldera (Print Workflow Software)
Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat)
Google Docs, Forms, Sheets, and Slides
Factory & Production
Ensure job sheets, quality control checks, and evidence tracking are completed.
Communicate detailed, concise messages and updates between factory and office teams.Maintain optimal stock levels, ensuring inventory is well-organized, safe, and accessible.
Finish and pack completed jobs before moving on to the next task.
Keep the workspace tidy and organised between jobs.
Requirements
Skills & Experience
Strong computer skills, ideally with experience on both Mac and PC.
Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
High attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Strong written, verbal, and listening skills for clear communication.
Ability to use initiative and problem-solve effectively.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
